Anyone else been keeping an eye on this ? Not all that much information around at the moment. Hopefully the running costs will be better than an Evo or it will make it a bit of a pointless exercise. Will make a decent alternative to the usual turbo hot hatches.

How will the running costs be much different, given that it is just a de-tuned evo beaten with the ugly stick..

Im sure I read somewhere that its actually a new engine, and not just a detuned Evo engine. Other articles i have read have shown it as a saloon although i think the UK may only get it as a hatch.

*Edit* Looks like it may just be a detuned Evo engine ... wonder what tuning will be like

Read a review for it on MSN.. they say it does 0-60 in about 7 sec ! Bit lardy from the sounds of things.

Its meant to be a competitor to the normal WRX and in theory should cost around £20K. I'd rather have the STi as well, but its around another £5K or so.
