Thought id lob my K62 into the mix, more photos Tuesday when more goodies arrive.

Couple of little mods you can do, thers a load of dead space in the roof perfect for hiding a slim USB hub like so...

Also 5.25in is roughly 14.6cm, bit of foam padding and you can hold a 14cm fan in the 5.25 bays, great thing is the foam grips and acts as a vibration dampener

With regards to water cooling, id say there's enough room in the roof to be honest. A slim 280mm rad will go in and the fans can be mounted inside easily enough.
Fan noise from the stock fans is fine for me. All fans are on a controller running at about 5V so they are silent.
