What you do with this stuff is use a standard touch up paint and a brush.

Then once it dries this stuff rubs down the blob of paint leaving the scratch/chip filled.

Iv used Dr Colourchip before and i would say i had equal success with both, the difference is this dosent cost 30 quid shipping from the US.

Might give this a go, my touch up paint has a colour undercoat and a clear lacquer, wil that be ok?

Yea that will be fine, i think they suggest putting the clear lacquer on after you have "eliminated the blob" :)

Thanks for the heads up - I think I'll try it at £15 a pop.
I'd been looking at Dr Colorchip but the $ exchange rate was making it £72 iirc.

Give it a go, just make sure the chip is deep enough to actually hold paint, then dont rub too hard.

Doesn't that then leave the clear standing proud?

I suppose it would, but it does say on the blurb in the box, add clearcoat after if desired.

I didnt bother i was quite happy to have succeeded in keeping the paint in the chips.
