David Lindeloff made one of the best ever comic spinoff (Watchman) so I'd have faith in what he's doing.

So did Geoff Johns in the comics world. Then he was unleashed back in the DCEU era. We saw what happened there. It's no proof of anything following through into another medium sadly.
