If you get yourself a differnt cooler I think you will be suprised. I made the mistake of buying an Arctic cooler Freezer 7 Pro when I was first setting up my Core2 Duo, can't tell you how many hours (and hours) I spent trying to get it cooling my e6300 properly.
People suggested that I check my IHS to see if it was concave and perhaps lapping it etc however I wasn't in a rush to take sandpaper to the processor.
In the end I ordered a Thermalright Ultra-120 (despite reading in a few reviews it was hard to fit) and much to my relief it was a doddle to fit and cooled my rogue e6300 'extremely' well
Some people praise the AC7Pro but I say its a false economy to buy a £15 heatsink, especially if you intend to overclock.
