lapping question

depends on how flat your CPU and Cooler are to start with and if your using air or water cooling. generally air its more noticable than water. If they are really out of shape then you could get max 10c lower, if they are already pretty flat then you may only see a 2-5c difference.

its a e6850 heard they are bad are not being flat :(
 
As has already been said it depends a lot on how flat the CPU and HSF are to start with. I was having issues with an e6300 idling really hot and after lapping it dropped about 7-8c idle and 4-5c under load. All in all well worth doing:D
