is the x1300 hypermemory a bit carp? its that or the x1150 anybody got a laptop with one of these chips in? i know that you can't play the newest games but for the money there isn't much else i can find.

The X1300 Hyper memory is pants but adequate for light gamings, The CPU is good and I really like the screen and the 5400RPM HDD, free Vista upgrade is a real plus too.

I'd say go for it, you won't get anything better than this for the money.

ok cheers steve :)
do you know if the amount of memory can be adjusted to 256 in bios for the x1300?
the x1150 will be worse i take it?
i don't think there is much else about for that price but will be better than the intergrated intel 950

Thanks again

The X1150 is the fully integrated graphic with all graphics memory shared with the main memory I think, so I'd thought the X1300 is better.

yes it should be possible to adjust the amound to video RAM to use, I won't put anything more than 64 Mb shared tbh, that and the independent 64mb is more than enough for X1300.
