Hi guys, a friend of mine has asked me to help him find a laptop for uni. Hes doing graphic design and he plays games like LoL and he will play guild wars 2. Can you recommend what kind of specs i should be looking for. He wants it to last 3-4 years at least. Thanks in advance

The Samsung 700G7C (as listed on Overclockers!) is a pretty good starting point and right on the money you've set. It's current for latest tech. Short of SLI dual card machines it doesn't (afaik) get much better.
I can't comment on the Samsung's screen quality for graphic design purposes. That's the part he'll want to research on his own. Colour coverage is likely to matter more in his case for his profession-to-be, where some screens can still look fantastic (dell's xps 15z) but fall a bit short for technical purposes.
