I am looking for a laptop that is similar to the Tosh L500-1XC but hopefully with discrete graphics to play Football Manager 2010/2011.

I need it to have either DVI or HDMI to play things on my LCD screen at 1080p.

At the moment I have ruled out the Asus UL30A as battery life is not important to me, neither is ultra portability as it will always be used at a desk.

So basically £400 with a gfx card capable of FM2010.

Would like to avoid outlet/refurb if possible.

Thanks guys :)

Yeh basically that but with a faster processor maybe? That is a low energy saving model I think.

comes in two flavours

with a daul core 1.2Ghz celeron

and the other one with a core 2 i belive at 1.3Ghz daul core. you pay for what you get I m affaird

Do you have the model number for the one with the faster processor?
I foudn this: UL80VT-A1, but it is £700, am I looking at the right one?

I can't remeber if its the "A1" that has the core 2 the only one I founf for your budget is the one with the SU2300 I think its called thats the celrone

you should be able to find it from.....the purples :p or someware in the same group as them

Yeh it is quite expensive with the core2duo, I found a dell refurb and wanted some opinions:

Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz
4Gig RAM
500gb HDD
15.6" High Definition TrueLife White-LED Screen
512mb ATi Radeon HD 4570
SRS Premium Sound

for £370

Any good? I think the GFX and CPU are okish?
