Hi all,
I was after some laptop advice and wasn’t sure if this was the best place to post.
Basically my girlfriend is thinking of buying a new laptop some time soon, one of the main reasons for wanting one is that she can use it when she goes back to university in September.
I however have advised her to put off buying a laptop until September for two main reasons, however as I don’t know a huge amount about laptops I was hoping you could confirm if my assumptions are correct.
1) Waiting until September will give a better impression of how big the Vista uptake is, if its big and the university supports Vista then it’s a must.
2) With the Core 2 Duo processor still relatively new it will be likely that the lower end laptops will start having core 2 duos for competitive prices by September.
Thanks for any advice
