I have an Asus K53E with a Core i7 Sandybridge (2820QM), 4Gb RAM and 320Gb HHD.
Generally it is a fairly competent laptop. Upgrading to W10 has seen a significant boost in speed and barring a few scratches and a dodgy charging socket (it needs to be on it's side, lent on the cable to charge) there really isn't anything wrong with it.
So my question is, where does the most bang for my buck lay?
Should I pursevere with what I've got and shell out £100 to get the charging socket fixed and a new battery, spend some money on a bit of an upgrade, say an SSD or bite the bullet and buy a new laptop for around £500.
In terms of usage, it is mainly Web and a bit of development. No gaming or anything fancy.
