Hi , guys I've been on this forum for years, and have dad invaluable help over that time.Im nearly eighty now so not quite pc active as I was.My hope is I can get some idea what to do re my problem. Which is I bought my grandson a new acer laptop ,it was sent back to them to fix ,when after 10 months it became faulty. It was still under warranty of 1 year. They sent it back weeks later and the matter was not fixed, although they claimed it was OK.
Eventually they took it back, and are now saying they can't fix it,and are offering compensation, What do you guys think? I'm of the opinion he should take the money towards another laptop, the cost of laptop was over £1000.My grandson says they have not mentioned any figure, also stating the laptop is now out of warranty, although it wasn't when the complaint when in.I would appreciate any comments from you guys.I apologise if this is not the correct forum section to raise this. Thanks
