laptop advise please.

Hi, i want to get my father a laptop, but i need a little advise please.

Requirements;

Reasonable size screen as he would never be able to see a small one(he is semi-retired and the eye site isn't so good)

It will be used for browsing the internet, so will need a wireless card and a little office work, so Microsoft office.

Would like it to have windows 7 or similar.

A DVD drive.

And possibly a wireless printer.

I have a budget of around £350 - £400 to get everything needed.

There's loads of 15.6" screen laptops in this price bracket, any of them should do what you require easily, all will have Windows 7 now, if you got a netbook you would sacrifice an optical drive for compactness, you will have to purchase office separately though as its never included.

Just have a look around and pick one with a reasonably fast processor over hard drive space as this seems more important to you than gigs of storage.

Try and stick to good brands such Dell, Acer, HP and Compaq.
