Hi All i,m alittle bit confused , i have a main p.c in my bedroom and i,m on Be broadband 20 meg service and i want to buy a laptop , now what i want to know is can i connect to the Be service through there router using wireless ? any help please thank:confused:

You'll need to access the router to enable wireless and to note the password so your laptop can connect to it.

Once the router is broadcasting a wireless signal the laptop should pick it up and allow you to connect with the password.

As for a guide. Check the router manual.

If you don't have the manual then look the router up on the internet.....you will find the router access details then as Tealc says.....make note of the router password, also the name of your wireless and then connect to it.......simple's.

Just make sure the laptop you buy has wireless.....most do but worth checking.

Hi there thank i have this under the router which one is the password ?
WEP (nex) ***********
WPA PSK ***********
WIRELESS PIN **********

WPA PSK is the one you'll need. When you turn the laptop on for the first time in your house it'll say "Wireless Networks Found" and you can choose the one that is mentioned on the bottom of the router, it'll ask you for the key, which you've already gotten off the bottom.

Bob's you're uncle, jobs a good'un :)
