Does anybody have an 8970 crossfire laptop? I'm looking at this.....
Laptop - 17.3" Crossfire gaming laptop
Graphics Card - Two 4GB AMD Radeon HD 8970M, 1280 streams in CrossFire
Processor - Intel Core i7 4710MQ, quad-core 2.5GHz
Memory - 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM
Hard Drive - 1TB Hitachi Travelstar 7200rpm
Optical Drive - Pioneer 8x DVDRW
Keyboard - Customisable backlit gaming keyboard
OS - Windows 8.1
Warranty - 2 Year Return To Base Warranty. Screen covered only during 1st year.
Total cost is £1300, Its a Clevo based chassis
I've always had desktops, but with kids we really need the space now so looking towards a laptop. I'm coming from a hex core xeon and 7970 crossfire.
Mostly I play Arma3 and flight sims. But am looking forward to star citizen.
Should also say I have an Oculus DK2 on its way.
Basically what I'm asking is will this be ok, there isn't too much on this crossfire setup online. I just wanna make sure I can run the Oculus well enough for me to not regret buying this! 780m sli is just too expensive.
