Hi,
I have a sony viao FS115Z laptop and was wondering if there was a way I can connect to my normal TV screen? Also if so what cables/accessories will I need? There is no TV card in the laptop.
Thanks

easiest way is to use the s-video - composite adapter for older tv, but the quality will be very bad. if you have a newer plasma or LCD TV then you may be able to hook it up with D-sub or s-video connectors.

is there any adapters to convert the other end of the monitor cable to plug into the tv?
I bought one from an auction site, but as far as I understand in most cases it's slightly more complicated than simply plugging it in as the normal signal coming from your VGA socket will not be suitable for the TV's input. I assume some graphics cards (I don't know which ones) can output a TV signal through their VGA socket, in which case the adapter I have would work fine ...
