Laptop Batteries

Hello can anybody tell me how they find replacement batteries for laptops from amazon instead of paying 60 quid to HP please ?
 
If it were me I'd just google for the battery for that specific laptop/ You could also pop the bottom of the case off and see whether there is a model number and google for that. But you might fidn that getting an original outside of HP is not significantly cheaper. You probably can find cheaper batteries but the longevity and quality of them might not be as good. If you find a significantly cheaper one then it's worth a try but if you're only saving a small amount then OEM might still be better.
 
Any third party batteries I've ever bought have been fine, reviews and or feedback usually guides me though so have a little confidence beforehand that I'm not buying really bad stuff.
 
Thanks for the advice, I will pass it on. Personally I would get one off Amazon but my mate is considering the branded one for a 2 year old laptop.
