Laptop battery and fan help

Just got an easynote laptop off my mate for £40

Problem is the battery lasts 30 mins and the fans are pretty loud. Anyway I can quieten *** fans down? Ie can I buy aftermarket replacements at all?

I assume I can only buy a battery from packard bell? Are there alternatives as payng £130 for a battery is gutting

Batteries can be got from various places online(obviously cant say where)a lot cheeper than getting from the manufacturer
I would try blowing out the fan with compressed air first as it may be clogged with dust which is why the fan is so loud as it is on full speed to cool a hot lappy....maybe

the fans are normally pretty bespoke, so theres probably no easy replacement, but you might be able to hack something together

Thread revival

Cleaned out the fan, still noisy. I would hack something together myself but finding a fan small enough to fit is proving tricky.

Are the batteries for sale on ebay any good or are they cheap and pretty poor?

Tried oiling the fan?
As for batteries i personally would avoid the bay and search for an online retailer
