This old chestnut is there any way to help my dell laptop battery last or look after it - I have 2 - 1 standard 1 extra cap both Li-ion heard,
Some say they will die regardless after a few years others that you should remove when not being used and store at 40% charge,
I also heard that they don't like been empty or always fully charged,
On this machine (4 month) 630m the battery life is great, I can always run it off the battery and then charge it up like a phone would that help.
