Laptop battery fake?

Hi all,

Purchased a battery on amazon,and wondering now if its a fake/ bad replacement for the xps battery.

Its meant to be

83,995 mWh but in reality im getting 75,240 mwh, that type of draining seems excessively high given ive had battery for just over a month.

interested to hear thoughts.

Laptop batteries are difficult to say if they are or aren't fake because quite often the "fake" ones are coming from the same factory as the official ones in Shenzhen and are therefore identical to the "real" ones but with a low key name on them and 1/4 of the cost.

Even the ones with official names on them are too easily faked that the only way you can know for sure if you are getting an authentic ( in your case dell ) oem part.
