Hi , my laptop screen has suddenly stopped working. It's a gateway laptop and everytime I turn it on all I get is a black screen , I can hear the HDD kicking in and the power lights come on but nothing on the screen , just black. I cant even see the screen faintly.
Anyone know what this could be and if there is an easy fix ? I've tried taking off the battery , holding down the power button for 60 seconds , then replacing the battery but it hasnt worked.
