Laptop bottom literally stuck on?

Hi all

Recently bought a Legion 7i, I'm looking to add a second SSD and having some problems getting the bottom off.

Looking at guides, Lenovo support etc it should be as straight forward as removing a few screws and using a prying tool to remove the bottom. Except, mine is literally stuck on with some sort of blue glue....

As I'm working my way around with the prying tool I'm getting far more resistance than id expect. Im about a third of the way around, to the point I can see through and there's a line of blue gunk (glue?) all around the edge.

Any ideas what sort of glue that is? is that common in your guys experience?

I found on all my laptops recently, especially the Legion, the "hook" system, or whatever you want to call it, whereby the plastic tabs attach the bottom plate to the body, are really strong.

But never seen glue.

Thanks for the reply it's really odd, made it a nightmare to get it off :/
