Laptop charger has stopped functioning. Any help?

I have a Advent 8555GX laptop, and my charger cable has stopped working unexpectedly. I am currently using a 15-24V charger over my old 19V one.

I just have a few questions:

Is there anyway at all to fix this?
Is using this type of charger dangerous? I should note it does not charge unless switched off.
Finally, what sort of warranty does Overclockers offer? I've only had this laptop since about October 2011.

Using the wrong charger could damage the motherboard, if it's under warranty get it replaced, contact customer services would be the quickest route.

Yeah I contacted them last week, still not heard anything back unfortunately. I will stick with this charger for now and hope it stays ok.

Since I have still heard nothing back from Overclockers, I would appreciate it if someone could point out which of these would be the best to buy for my Advent 8555GX.

you need a 19V 4.47a and all of those you have listed will work, so its up to you which one you get.
