I've been looking around at laptops recently. At first I wanted a MacBook, but when comparing specs to price I think I'll get better for a PC Laptop.
After a bit of looking around, I've stumbled accross the HP DV2000 range.
They seem to fit exactly what I'm after, small and light(enough), whilst offering moderate performance.
Has anybody owned one of these, or have any comments related to them?
There seems to be about £100 price difference between the Turion version, and the Core Duo one, is the performance difference worth it?
My main concers, CPU wise are power useage, and performance. So how do these 2 compare with this in mind?
Finally, are there any other Laptops that fit the bill, in the same price bracket (£700)?
It needs to be small (14" is fine, but widescreen preferably), decent battery life, well put together, and decent performance. I may use it for a little light gaming, but nothing too heavy as I will also have a more dedicated PC for gaming.
cheers
