Laptop Cooler

My brother has an Asus G1 laptop and I want to get him a laptop cooler as a birthday present. Can anyone recommend one for this laptop? Are the ones sold here at OC suitable for it?

Sorry for not adding to thread, but im just wondering. Whats the purpose of coolers for laptops?

as nice an idea as it seems, they aren't necessary. i think he'd appreciate a good game or other accessory far more as in the end a cooler is useless.

if it is overheating then take it back to the shop.
