Laptop CPU question

Currently have a TK-42 Athlon64 x2 mobile in the laptop.

Im wanting to upgrade to a TK-57 Athlon64 x2 chip, but for the same price ive seen a Turion 64 x2 TL-56

Im assuming the turion is the better cpu as it has double the L2 cache. Its the same socket too so should be ok.

Make sure the laptop's cooling system can take the increased heat from the new chip, and the PSU is up to it. Also, you should probably check it's supported by the bios too.

under 20 quid delivered so it wont be the end of the world if it dosent work. I still need to check that the cpu socket is acessable as well.
