Laptop CPU

Hey guys,

My dad has asked me for advice on getting a new laptop, he has about £700 credit to spend. I don't know much about laptop CPU's can anyone give me some advice? There seem to be a few to choose between:

AMD Sempron
AMD Turion
Intel Celeron M
Intel Pentium M

Are there any other obvious thigns he needs to know? I told him that it would be best not to get one with integrated gfx and to have at least 512 ram.. thanks for any help.

Speed wise Pentium M>Turion>Sempron>Celeron M

The turion, pentium M and celeron M are all similar for battery life.

For £700 I would be looking for something like a 1.8ghz turion or a 1.73 pentium M
