Laptop cracked

hi all
my mates laptop lid is cracked around the hinges,
so every time you open or shut it, it cracks more
any suggestions on how to fix it???

Drill small holes in the case at the ends of the cracks.

I also have cracks on the hinges of my Acer,

I just never shut the lid unless im moving the laptop to another location

i doubt glue would do the crack
however i was expecting someone to say glue something over the crack, to bridge it
the type of glue was an issue as well, i are'nt sure super glue is the answer

Usually there is a screw adjustment to loosen the lid clutch so it opens more easily. Ease this off a bit and it will reduce the stress and hopefully stop the cracking. I's then superglue the crack with a fresh tube of glue (not some old, weathered crappy stuff).

My acer also cracked on the hinges... sent it back for a new lid
