Laptop Device detection problem

Hi,

I am installing a PCMCIA card in a friends laptop & it is alway detecting the device as something else.

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on how to overcome this problem. :confused:

yeah, have you tried to look for drivers?

Try using Unknown Devices, and see what it detects as.
It might be that your system already has drivers that will work with the card.

also, have you googled to check that there are no compatibilty/known issues between them?

The computer picks up the device as a video device
