I have just rebuilt a lenovo T61 laptop onto windows 7 and am having some problems with the aero video features in 7. They seem really jerky (maximising and minimising etc). It has a NVIDIA Quatro NVS 140M which scores 4.1 on the windows performance scale. As far as I know this should have no trouble with aero at all.
I feel like there must be some kind of driver issue. I downloaded the driver from the lenovo website rather than letting windows do it automatically so I am sure it is the right one.
Is there any way of checking it is working as it should?
Can anyone think of anything else that might be causing it? I have 4GB of ram installed and it is a dual core 2.4 GHz CPU so I cant imagine it should have a problem running any of this stuff.
