Hi there, trying to fix a laptop for a friend.
The original problem was that when booting up - after the Windows Vista "Welcome" Screen - it would just go to a black screen with a cursor, unless I CTRL + ALT + DEL and run Task Manager.
I tried numerous things to fix that, but in the end just re-formatted and re-installed.
The problem is, it's originally a 32bit version, and I've installed 64bit as that's the only Vista CD I have - now I can't find the relevant wireless drivers for 64bit. (Sony site only supplies download links for 32bit..)
The laptop is a SONY VAIO VGN-NS20E..
Any suggestions or tips? (other than obtain a 32bit and re-inst).
