Hi all.
In short, my house got flooded and my Rock Xtreme CTX t2700 got soaked (while switched on) and its completely hammered. We are now claiming insurance, but i dont actually want another high performance laptop, i'd rather have a nice desktop pc and save the extra money. I expect they will need me to specify a replacement laptop of the same value (we have a new for old policy).
SO which laptop should i get - for the sole purpose of selling it on?
My old laptop cost about £1,650 new, so im looking around that price, but obviously i want to go for a popular / reputable brand that will be easy to sell on.
If only the insurance company could just give me the money (that it would cost them to buy me a new one) it would be a lot easier!
Hope you lot can help!
