Laptop encryption

Hi guys, what is the best laptop encryption tool these days for laptops using win 7 pro. I have in the past used truecrypt what it is no longer supports. I can't use Microsoft but locker because I am using windows 7 pro. What are the best alternatives, would it be diskcryptor or veracrypt or are there better solutions?

Truecrypt can still be used on Windows 7, You need to find a download for a older version.

i am still using it (truecrypt) but it is not supported any longer so looking for better supported alternatives, as there have security issues with truecrypt that have not been fixed/addressed.

i can't upgrade the os to win 10 unfortunately.. as some of the software needed on them doesn't work well with win 10.
