Laptop equivalent to i5 9600K ?

Hello guys. I'm thinking about getting a gaming laptop and would like to know the mobile version that matchs the i5 9600K

Also if you can recommend a 17" laptop for me to look at, feel free.

Probably the i5 9300H/9400H. The i5 9600K is obviously 6 cores 6 threads. I don't think there is any mainstream mobile 6C6T laptop out so the closest is 4C8T of the i5 9300H/9400H. After that you are moving to 6 Cores and 12 Threads of i7 mobile processors. You also have the newer versions 10300H and 10400H coming out now but I heard is it pretty much the exact same

Probably the Ryzen 5 4500U and upwards. The R5 4500U is the only 6 core 6 thread CPU for the Ryzen 4000 mobile series. But remember this the U series which means low power draw. So really you should look at the Ryzen 5 4600H which is 6 core and 12 Threads which is obviously more than i5 9600K offers. Avoid Ryzen 3000 mobile series as these are much slower than the 4000 series

Ryzen 4000 laptops are very new and still coming out as we speak. But general reviews are very positive and from the early reviews, look to be better value then Intel.

I like the look of that Asus TUF, thankyou. It has an A17 big brother aswell. Interesting.

I think I'm set on a 17.3" thin bezel screen and 16GB memory. I'll just have to decide on the rest of the internals.

Can laptops come with upgrade potential like throwing an M2 in at some point as an example? Or are they pretty much built and that's it done?
