Well the mother's in need of a new laptop, considering the old one is... old i think pretty much anything would be a good step forward. Anyway, before you say 8371 you should know that it's best if it comes from one of a few shops that we have a voucher for, and i was thinking there might be a better deal somewhere since it's after Christmas. Besides, a larger screen would probably be beneficial.
Uses? Generally just browsing, document editing etc. (hence why i'm going to dual boot linux on there until they like it
).
