Laptop for 500?

hey guys

my sister is in need of a laptop and has asked for a bit of advice. Unfortunately i don't know jack when it comes to laptops (or desktops for that matter).

Max budget is around 500.

She doesn't play any video games so will likely only be used for email, web browsing and work.

Oh and it needs to be centrino so she can connect to the wireless network in her flat.

I've been poking around Dell's website but tbh I don't know what's worth it and what isn't.

Any ideas?
