Laptop for a Birthday Present - Recommendations?

So it's my Dads 50th coming up in a few weeks. He's a little slow with computers but regularly gets on it surfing the internet checking the sport, youtube, etc. Was wondering If anyone know's some good bang for buck laptops. Ticking all the boxes - Duel Core 3/4GB Ram - 320+ HDD Win7? Budget of 300 ideally. £350 push - To discuss post the model name

My dad isn't familiar with Mac's and I would buy myself a MBA! So just a cheap and cheerful Win7 Laptop will cut his needs. Although I'm loving my MBP and iMac 27" :cool:
