Hi all,

So I am in dilema as my budget is around £650, at a push £700. What I want is a device which I can use to sketch so like the wacom intuos pro medium, and additionally to that a laptop which can run photoshop well and like light games e.g. CS GO. I would like the laptop to have a good screen as thats important for designing. Or do u think thats not possible for this price range

My other option is to buy the cintiq 13hd and just use that with my desktop. But what I would really like is something that I can take to school, or when Im out and work like that.

Any questions just ask.
Thanks in advance.

I think the top contender would be a Surface Pro 3 or 4, though with the 4 you might have to sacrifice specs a bit to get it under budget. There aren't too many 2-in-1s with an actual pen included.

Well, I have looked into this series and even though it is a decent laptop. I am not sure if it is good enough for like sketching and graphical work as I don't really know the pressure sensitivity of the screen and if the pen has tilt recognition, where like the wacom intuos pro shines in. Do you know the information about the screen for the dell?

It comes in various different specs to be honest, but one of the options is a 4K screen which is no doubt pretty decent. That does however raise the price up to the £800 mark, though.

I think you'd be hard-pushed to find a laptop with a better bang/buck/spec ratio.

I can't link to competitor sites, but if you google 'Dell inspiron 15 7559' and look at the actual Dell page for the model, it gives you all the specs.

Well you would be using a graphics pad like the wacom so surely you are not drawing on the screen?

The laptop itself is plenty powerful enough for photoshop and everything else.

The only device I can see that would have a remotely suitable enough screen is the Surface, even then that is partly due to it being able to be put in different positions because of the kickstand.

The laptop does not need to have a touchscreen, as long as it has good colabration and like a high RGB %, it doesn't need to be 4k but like UHD would be great. I would use a wacom intuos pro so I would not draw on the laptop. The laptop itself cannot be more than like £500. Any suggestions. Dell seems like a decent option. The Asus X555LA seems pretty good as well. Another option I found is the Asus K501 and the Lenovo E560. Are there any better laptops or do u think that one of these would be a good choice.
