Hi there folks, just wanted to get some opinions! My girlfriend is currently at university and requires a new laptop, something that can handle all the programmes she needs to use such as office but also a few more demanding programmes like photoshop. The problem we have is the budget. She can't understand why I'd pay well over a grand fort computer as "it's all the same" 
. Her budget is around £300 and I was hoping you guys could help out, if you'd seen some good deals in places or have experience with laptops in this price range.
Personally I think whatever she gets is going to be a stinker and she'll want a MacBook in 6 months as "they're better" even though she spent less than half on the laptop she already had.
