Laptop for photography around £1,200

Depending on what processing you're doing, you may need a discrete GPU, either NVIDIA or AMD, as these can make an enormous difference to things like noise-reduction software. I would also recommend 32GB RAM these days.

I admit to being a Lenovo fanrinkli (far too old to be a fanboi) and I would wait until there's a 15% off or better offer on the Legion 5 range. The better of the 16" screens is really good. A cheaper alternative would be the 16" version of the IdeaPad Pro 5 Gen 9.

I been looking at these in OCUK. Which one do you say is the best one...

MSI Katana 17 NVIDIA RTX 4050, 16GB, 17.3" 144Hz, Intel i7-13620H Gaming Laptop

OR

MSI Crosshair 16 HX NVIDIA 4060 16GB 16 QHD+ 240Hz Intel i7-14700HX Gaming Laptop

OR

Gigabyte G6X NVIDIA RTX 4060 16GB 16 FHD+ 165Hz i7-13650HX Gaming Laptop

I'd go with the Crosshair out of those for the better screen quality alone.
