So I'm gonna be doing a lot of photography work in the field, and wanted a laptop to tether to my camera. It will have to be able to run Photoshop (nothing heavy though) and Lightroom. And preferably Football Manager as well :)

Screen size, anywhere between 10" and 15", no bigger. Was looking at the Dell Inspiron 1525 for £399 -

* Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750
* (2.0GHz, 667 MHz, 2 MB Cache)
* Genuine Windows Vista (R) Home Premium
* 2 GB Memory
* 120 GB Hard drive
* 15.4" TrueLife Widescreen Display
* DVD ReWriter Drive
* Wireless enabled
* HDMI connectivity, webcam
* Black design

Can anyone find anything better than this? Budget is around £450 give or take, depending on what I'm getting.

Cheers all!

best around 450 is the acer aspire 5920g i reckon, its 499.99 from the large forest website.

its got...

* Hard Drive: 250GB Hard Disk Drive

cheapest lappy with a decent graphics card, 2gb ram and a good processor.

if thats not what you want take a look at the lower acers, they are good bang for your buck and are up there with the dells imo.
