Hi guys, not great with computers and my old laptop is on its way out so I'm looking to replace it for under the £400 mark. Generally for work and the occasional gaming.

I've looked around and saw these:

Which is the better deal? Samsung is a well known brand but the other one seems cheaper and better.
Failing which, is there any other laptops out there that you could recommend?

Cheers in advance

Not the highest spec gaming, just the odd RTS like warcraft 3. I've got a console for the heavy stuff. Really the question is whats the best spec/most reliable laptop i could get from OC for under £400.

Had a look at some dells, came up with this:

Vostro 1500
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5270 (1.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2-cache)
Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium
15.4" Wide Screen WXGA (1280 x 800) Display
2048MB (2x1024) 667MHz DDR2 Dual Channel
120GB (5400rpm) SATA Hard Drive
128MB nVidia® GeForce® 8400M GS
Primary 6-cell Lithium-Ion Battery (56 WHr)

for around the £390 mark. It has the 2mb cache and 2 gb of memory as recommended, what do you think? Is it better than the samsung I previously mentioned?
