Laptop for WoW with enough ports

Hi,

I need advice, please. I have searched the forum and found some knowledgeable answers, but nothing very recent.

As it's time to replace our 14 years old gaming PC, I am looking to buy a laptop this time. I would like to keep the peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse) and be able to connect to them easy, as laptop would be used for gaming (mainly World of Warcraft) and general browsing - away from desk.

I would like decent graphics which will be good for some 5 years or so (I know WoW can be run on a potato, but this is a present for my husband so I'd like it a bit more decent). Screen size doesn't really matter, but it would need to have enough ports to connect a hub for monitor and USB keyboard/mouse.

My budget is up to £1000.

It would be fantastic to catch a sale now that many are on, so any advice would be massively appreciated.

Thank you for your help,

Khirka
(Edit: clarified hub need)

If laptop lacks USB ports, just use a USB hub? Havign a quick look at gaming laptops lenevo legion they have a total of 5 USB ports, mixed between USB2/3/C etc
Of course, makes sense to have a hub, thanks.

That makes it easier to choose, I suppose, more options.

Watching this thread - looking for something similar. Doesn't need to the best performance but would like the best possible screen.
