Hey guys, I have my 360 for my other gaming needs, I was looking to buy a laptop to browse the net and only play WoW. My budget is tight, so the cheaper the better. Could I get a laptop for £300 or under to play WoW with ok fps?

See if you can get a sandybridge i5, my work laptop handles WoW fine, i5-2410M with HD3000. Failing that, see if you can find a second hand Acer 8371G.

I have the same on my 13" MacBook this does run perfect but since the Graphics are integrated I have heat issues CPU hitting 80degrees + not sure if a normal Windows laptop would have better cooling. Personal opinion WoW will be played for hours at a time.. a dedicated card would be the best bet spending 350-450 ish to achieve that.

This is true, but I was just giving him an option at his price point as it's the only readily available tech that is vaguely capable of WoW, my 8371G plays WoW at the same pace as my Vostro 3350, but doesn't get as hot owing to the discreate graphics. Besides, whenever I play WoW on my work laptop - it's only usually a quick stint, and in an AC'd office and laptop on a laptop stand. :)

You would struggle to build a desktop PC to play wow at decent res at £360, Never mind a laptop,Gaming laptops are £900+, £1500 for one worth it's salt.

Suppose a low budget and a gaming laptop arnt really going to happen, unless its going to be a bad investment as in heat issues etc.
