As the title suggests, I am interested in buying someone a laptop for christmas. They read forums online, browse the net, look at ebay and the most intensive thing they do is probably watch iplayer

Portability and lightweight is needed as well so a screen in the 13-14" range.
Fortunately as gaming is not a requirement I am thinking an i3 with inbuilt intel graphics will be more than ample for their needs. Up to date and towards the budget end.
Are there any particular brands and models that excel in this area? Looking to spend no more than £300 but the cheaper the better.
