laptop forum

im guessing its prob been mentioned before but wouldnt a laptop category in this forum go down well? Iv posted a number of laptop threads in the past and they always roll down to bottom of the pile and dont get answered!

If the laptop threads don't tend to get as many answers then is it possible that enough people simply don't know enough about them or at least don't have the interest in answering? If this is the case then a laptop sub-forum is unlikely to change this state of affairs so you might well be left with a 'dead' forum and people will still post in General Hardware because they will at least get more views.

I don't know the answer one way or the other but I'm just offering a potential reason for the lack of replies.

Seems a good idea to me. Laptop use is growing and laptop questions/issues are very different from destop/SFF questions. Gets my vote.

also if u ever look in the linux/mac forums its full of macbook topics so we are guaranteed activity in a laptop forum. Maybe the mac'ers are in a separate league though!
