Laptop Forum

Hey.

Just a suggestion, so please don't start shooting me down!

But, why don't the mods or owners of the forum consider inserting a laptop forum into the hardware section of the forums? - Jeez, I love the word forum

Just I notice there are a lot of laptop related threads laying around, and often especially when it comes to hardware, laptops differ somewhat from say a desktop setup.

So, just an idea that a seperate forum maybe of some use.

The trouble is that OcUK doesn't sell a whole lot of laptops, their bread-and-butter is desktop gaming systems. Since they don't have a whole lot of them they're less than eager to point interest in such a direction that potential sales are lost to competing hardware retailers. It's part of the reason there're not dedicated Macintosh or enterprise hardware forums. another part of it is that they don't want too many sections that see very little traffic (see Optical Storage and Writing).

It has been suggested a few times before so there is some demand for it but there are already quite a lot of sub-forums and adding more just dilutes it further like BillytheImpaler says.
