Laptop freezing @ bios splash screen

Hi guys....trying to sort a laptop out for a friend without sending it off if possible...The problem is when the laptop boots it just freezes at the bios splash screen and goes no further,it asks to prss f2 to get to the bios but it just wont go to the bios.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be at all as ive not got any idea

The laptop models a packard bell igo and thats all i know

Ive finally found the problem its the keypad,1 of the keys is stuck down...as anyone got any ideas on what i could do to rpair the key thats causing the problem,ive took the keypad out but theres not much to it.

Or does anyone know where i can get a replacement keypad for a packard bell igo 3491?

any ideas guys would be great
