My HP laptop keeps freezing at random intervals with the (not responding) warning appearing and the screen going opaque. It does this whether just browsing the web or photo editing, infact at any time it chooses nomatter what application is running.
Are there any specific reasons for this??
It is a HP DV6-1210sa with Windows 7 Home premium 32bit and an AMD Athlon X2 processor and 3 gig of PC6400 DDR2 800mhz ram and has ATI Mobility HD4500/5100 with 512 mb memory.
This is very anoying at times. The CPU fan is working fine and it does not get very hot to the feel of the exhaust port so does anyone have any ideas what is causing this.
BTW all dirvers and updates for everything are bang upto date.
Someone told me to add more memory.
