Sorry, I know this has been done before, but can anyone recommend some good games that'll work on my 640m?

Decent processor but rubbish onboard graphics.

Cheers.

I'll say Uplink before anyone else does just because it's gonna pop up eventually when the words laptop and games are in the same thread.

What are the integrated graphics? GMA950?

You could get away with Half Life 2, I just installed it on my laptop with the same graphics and it runs, not bad... Obviously on low, but still.

Dawn of War, Red Alert 2, etc... They are always good for a laugh.

Cheers for the suggestions - my integrated graphics are 945GM so nothing spectacular.

So far, I've tried System Shock II which crashes and Armadillo Run which runs fine (you'd hope so!)

Call of Duty and Call of Duty United Offensive :D

You will need a proper mouse though!

one game i will be bringing with me the next time i go home, great for online play as well especially DBD servers

My laptop has Ati's X300 mobile 128mb in it, so i get to play pretty much any PC game :p (maybe not on full settings, but playable nonetheless) </shameless bigup>

Basically any 2D game would work fine on it, but keep the reciepts just in case
